Coloring idea & keyboard controls

Try a ginger cat against a blue cushion, or invent a lilac cat. Keep the wall pale to make the cat stand out.

Keyboard: Tab to the drawing. Arrow keys move the visible crosshair; hold Shift for a bigger step or Alt for one pixel. Enter or Space uses the selected tool. Drag with Move drawing to navigate a zoomed page. Ctrl/⌘ + Z undoes; Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + Z redoes.

Helps contain the next fill. Undo reverses it; the original lines stay unchanged.

An easy place to experiment.

Try the same color in a few separate shapes, then add a contrasting color nearby. Use paper white to remove color from a shape, or Undo to step back. Dark fills can be recolored just like lighter ones.

When a fill goes further than expected

Color follows connected open space in the drawing. A tiny gap can connect two shapes. Undo, open Colors & settings and try Small gaps or Larger gaps, then fill again. Protection cannot close every opening and can close intentional narrow passages. It changes the fill boundary, not the original artwork. Choose Brush for solid strokes or Pencil for lighter layered marks; both preserve dark outlines. Use Move drawing and Zoom to reach small details.

Recent undo steps are kept within a fixed memory limit. Up to three recent drawings are saved in this browser when device storage is available. Check the saving message before leaving, and download a PNG to keep a separate copy. Saved colors can be restored; undo history starts fresh after reopening.
