Long curved areas are fairly open, but the inner ribbons narrow toward their ends. About the labels.

Try this palette: Evening contrast

Move from blue to mint around the blades, then repeat gold inside each narrow ribbon. Leave a few gaps white.

A small coloring tip

Follow each curve with light pencil strokes. Turn the paper when an edge is awkward to reach.

Give each blade two related colors and swap their positions in the next blade to make the wheel feel different.
