How much detail?

The big squirrel, tail and oversized acorns have generous spaces for coloring. About the labels.

Give the acorn caps a deeper brown than the nuts and try an orange squirrel.

A small coloring tip

Fill the tail with the side of a crayon; a pointed pencil is useful for the small scallops on each acorn cap.

Color the held acorn as the squirrel's prize, then make the scattered ones a little quieter.
