Zebra in a flower meadow

A zebra stands among daisies beneath a single cloud. Every stripe is left open, so you can use a classic black-and-white coat or invent your own striped animal.

How much detail?

Outlined stripes and flower centers create smaller spaces within a simple scene. About the labels.

Fill alternating stripe spaces with charcoal or invent a rainbow stripe pattern.

A small coloring tip

Use a sharpened dark pencil for the narrow stripes on the face and legs; wider body stripes leave room for markers.

Try a two-color stripe rule and follow it from the zebra's nose to its tail.
