One number, three ways to see it.

  1. Count the objects. Touch one shape at a time and say its number. Color the group after counting, or color each object as it is counted.
  2. Build the quantity. Color the same number of spaces in the ten-frames. Complete the top row and then the bottom row of the first frame before moving to the second.
  3. Compare the groups. Count the dots in boxes A, B and C. Circle the group that matches the numeral. For zero, find the empty box.

The groups use clear circles, stars, diamonds, hearts and flowers. Two frames always provide twenty spaces; unused spaces stay white.

Fill the first frame from left to right across the top row, then the bottom row. Continue in the second frame if needed. Each frame has ten spaces. A quantity of zero leaves both frames empty.
