Sports & Active Day Coloring Pages

Start with a ball or a piece of equipment, or choose a player in a park, pool or sports setting. Plain kits, boards and caps leave space to invent original team colors without following a real club.

A player in action

A kick, a patterned ball and a small goal give you an active scene. Repeat two team colors on the shirt, socks and shoes.

Fine equipment detail

Crossed rackets bring many tiny string spaces beside a broad towel and bottle. You can leave the strings light and spend more time on the frame and grip colors.

Rackets ready for a tennis match ↗

Keep the equipment and player clear against the setting.

Choose the brightest color for a shirt, helmet, ball or racket frame, then make the nearby field or background lighter. To suggest a rounded basketball on paper, begin with a pale base and deepen one curved edge, leaving the opposite side light. A flat single color also works; the printed outlines already describe the shape.

Repeat one accent across a player’s kit, or alternate two colors along the tennis towel border. Use short strokes on grass and longer, smoother strokes along a running lane to make the surfaces feel different. Keep narrow net and racket-string spaces pale if you would rather focus on the larger objects. Gradients and added badges are options for the printed page; the studio fills existing enclosed regions.

Try a small project

Choose the soccer-practice and running-track pages for an imaginary sports day. Give the players one shared team color, then use a different second color for each activity and decorate the three track flags to match.
